Less than a week after winning the Giulio Gari Foundation Competition, tenor Bryan Hymel has taken First Prize in the Loren L. Zachary National Vocal Competition for Young Opera Singers in Los Angeles. This marks the third competition victory for Mr. Hymel this spring, as he also won first place in the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation Competition in April of this year.
