Bryan Hymel Receives First Prize in Giulio Gari Competition

Tenor Bryan Hymel, who recently won the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation Competition, has won first prize in the Giulio Gari Foundation Competition. 

Mr. Hymel, who will compete in the finals of the Loren L. Zachary National Vocal Competition for Young Opera Singers next weekend in Los Angeles, is set to make a number of European and American debuts next season, in such locales as Bordeaux, Boston, and Athens.
